Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić was born today, September 28, in 1975. She has only been the Prime Minister of Serbia since June 29, 2017, when she became the first woman and first openly gay person to hold the office.
Brnabić is the fifth openly LGBT head of government in the world and the second female LGBT head of government overall. In 2017 she became the first head of government of any Balkan country to attend a gay pride march when she attended one in Belgrade.
